This is Sylvia Plath reading her poem “The Stones” in 1962. Because sometimes on Wednesdays you need to hear some beautiful poetry.

Great post. I’m always interested in the way poets read their own poems. Sylvia Plath does it very well – she adds depth to the words, but not in an overblown way. I also like the way you always choose such good literary selections!
